Anna and the French Kiss
This was a very lighthearted, perfect for summer reading, type book. The City of Love is showcased through the eyes of Anna, an American teenaged girl, who discovers friendship and love and all the other hormonal attributes that comes with the teenage package.
It’s a sweet story, but I find Anna a little naive at times, questioning situations too much until it became repetitive especially with her relationship with St. Clair (whose character was funny and witty at times but can be somewhat of a wimp). But the City kisses her heart and kindles a fire that enriches the pages of this book from a shaky start to a solid and beautiful conclusion.
All in all, a good read. Explore Paris through well written words that fill this book.
